How far in advance can I reserve a unit?

We do not reserve units. Our units are on a first come first serve basis. The day you rent is the day your lease begins 

Do I have to sign a lease or can I rent a unit on a month-to-month basis? 

Our leases are on a month to month basis and do require a signature upon renting

What notice is required before I move out? 

We require no notice. You may call the office on the day you clean out, sweep out and remove your personal lock from your unit. Keep in mind, we prorate going in, but DO NOT prorate going out. If you have recurring billing your payment will be automatically taken from your account on the 1st of every month until stopped. If you go over a day or two into new month we can refund your cc the months rent which may take up to a couple of days. 

What are the days and hours that I may access my storage unit? 

24 hours, 7 days a week 

What are the office hours?

Our offsite Accounting Office Monday-Friday, 8am to 4pm or by email (info@storagerentals.biz) 24 hours 


Do you require insurance on the contents of my storage unit? 

No, but if you do not take insurance you store at your own risk

What documents are needed to rent my storage unit? 

Drivers License 

Can I rent a storage unit over the phone or do I need to visit the facility in person? 

You may rent by an appointment if you would like to see space first, or you may rent online at JWIstorage.com 

Will I receive a monthly "bill"? 

You will only receive a monthly invoice by e-mail or by text. We do not mail invoices

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, checks, ACH payments, Visa, Master Card or Discover 

When is my rental fee due? 

Your rent is due the 1st of every month. After the 5th it will be considered late, and you will be charged $10, after the 15th a $10 late/lockout fee

What can I store in my unit? 

Anything with the exception of any flammable objects

Do I need to provide my own lock? 

Yes, cylinder locks preferred especially if you take insurance 
 

Are friends or relatives allowed access my unit? 

You may share your keys with whomever, but we take no responsibility for lost or stollen items


What if there is damage to my unit or another unit within the facility?

Report the damage by calling the office, (843) 626-8222. 

Can I get a refund? 

When you vacate your unit and have a monthly credit on your account, a refund will be issued. But again, we do not prorate moving out. 


What if I forget the gate code? 

If you have access to our online site your code is provided there, if you do not have access you may call the office. 

Are all facilities Gated? 

No 

Does the facility provide electric so I can perform work and or can I perform any work at facility? 

No
